Dr. Wang Wei received a master’s degree in Mental Health from China Medical University in 2007. She has previously worked at Beijing Anding Hospital, accumulating more than12 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Later Dr. Wang had been clinically practicing in one of the top private general hospital in Beijing for nearly five years and also working as department deputy chair and chair. Dr. Wang excels in implementing individualized treatment. She has extensive experience in managing psychiatric emergency patients as well as conducting individual and group psychological crisis interventions. During her working period in the top private general hospital in Beijing, she has provided cross-cultural mental health services to individuals from over 40 countries and also she had rich experience working with young adolescents and their families. Later she has traveled to 18 countries to offer psychological support services to overseas employees of Huawei for one year before she joined in Vista Medical Center in Feb 2025.

Dr. Wang is a member of the Psychological Crisis Intervention Expert Group and an expert in the Mental Health Group of Maternal and Child Health Technical Service Expert Committee in Chaoyang District, Beijing. She is also an experienced therapist. She has received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and families. Additionally, she has undergone training in British Object Relations Theory, personal experience and supervision.

Vista‘s Emotional Well-Being Seminars are provided to give professional support for families, and promote awareness for parents and children about the unique challenges and pressures they may be experiencing.

Challenges facing children and teenagers include: managing peer pressure, pressure to experiment with drugs &alcohol, being an ex-pat 3rd culture child/family, developing a positive self-image, among others.

Vista’s psychologist, Dr. Rhoda Cruz has many years of experience helping families learn practical skills to promote open and caring communication.These seminars may be held at your school, your school’s parent organization, or at our clinic.
