Dr. Fuzhong Tong
Doctor Tong Fuzhong studied and received his Doctorate Degree in Medicine at the Osaka University in Japan from 1984 to 1993. After that he continued postdoctoral research in oncological surgery. After returning to China, he was mainly engaged in the research and clinical treatment of breast cancer and disease. He carried out comparison studies on various modified radical mastectomy and postoperative survival rates, in order to establish the optimal surgical options at different stages.
He is currently performing clinical studies on the treatment of postoperative/progressive tumors through adjuvant chemotherapy, endocrine therapy and immune biology methods. By doing so he is hoping to improve long-term survival rates of patients and their quality of life.
At the same time, Doctor Tong is doing basic research on tumoriegnesis and early diagnosis of tumors so as to clarify its genetic mechanisms and to have better clinical therapeutic effects.
