Dr. Teresa Gao
In 2005, Dr. Gao graduated with honors from the Norman Bethune University of Medical Science (NBUMS) in JiLin, Beijing. She went on to receive her doctor’s degree in Internal Medicine from Peking Union Medical College. During her three years of clinical rotations she gained extensive experience in all areas of internal medicine.
Since 2010, Dr. Gao has been working at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital and the China Meitan General Hospital and has accumulated a wealth of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases and intensive care. She performs a variety of surgeries including: endoscopy, single colonoscopy and endoscopic polypectomy. In addition to her clinical work, she has published more than 10 academic papers and SCI works. Over the years Dr. Gao has expanded her medical practice to include nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine and psychology. She is a firm believer in the concept of holistic health, understanding that a person’s health consists of more than just the physical, but should include the psychological, social, and spiritual side as well.
