Dr. Frank Zhu
Dr. Frank Zhu is a graduate of the Peking Union Medical College of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and a Doctor of Clinical Medicine.
At the Department of Internal Medicine of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Dr. Zhu served as a deputy director of the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Gastroenterology. He specialized in diagnosing and treating a variety of common, severe and complicated internal medical problems and diseases, especially digestive and liver diseases. Dr. Zhu has hosted and participated in various kinds of consultations, including some major state medical consultations and public health and emergency events. He has carried out clinical research on liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease in Japan and Canada and participated in the establishment of an international research center of inflammatory bowel disease.
He specializes in: diagnosis and the treatment of internal medical disorders; diagnosis and the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, liver and gallbladder diseases, pancreatic disease, endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, and the clinical nutrition of digestive diseases.
