Dr. Jie Li

Dr. Li Jie graduated in the Department of Pediatrics of the Peking Union Medical College. She was a former editor of the Chinese Journal for Clinicians; an evaluation expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC); an assessment expert for the scientific research projects of the Ministry of Health; a medical accident appraisal Expert for Chaoyang Medical Association. She specializes in the field of pediatric respiratory diseases, pediatric emergency and children health care.
Dr. Li Jie worked as a resident and chief physician at the Department of Internal Medicines-Pediatrics in the Capital Institute of Pediatrics. She has worked in multiple departments including respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, neurology, nephrology, and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). He has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of children’s common, critical and complicated illnesses.
During her practice in the Capital Institute of Pediatrics, Dr. Li Jie served as Professor of Pediatrics for the Peking University Health Science Center and was accredited the title of “Excellent Teacher” of the Peking University. From 2001, she became a medical advisor for graduates and postgraduates. After that, she went to London and studied Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) practice at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. After returning to Beijing, she joined Beijing United Family Hospital as a part-time pediatrician until today. Dr. Li Jie has organized and participated in a number of clinical research works and has published over 40 academic papers in Pediatrics. He has also helped compiled the book “Pediatric Disease Symptoms Diagnosis”.
